Job Full Description

We are currently working with a law firm in Marion that is looking to hire a Legal Secretary to aid attorneys in office flow, great clients, and help in drafting legal documents.

This position is Full-Time and Long-Term , with room to grow. $20/hour. The schedule is currently Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM .

Job Duties:

Answering phones and scheduling
Taking care of attorneys' personal schedules
Running errands
Going to courthouses
Typing
Drafting legal documents
Filing, efile, faxing
Preparing Secretary of State forms
General office duties as assigned

Requirements:

Outstanding verbal and written communication
Able to write documents, draft, and proofread
Legal experience or extensive secretarial experience
Able to learn quickly and work independently
Professional and friendly demeanor
Able to work with the team of attorneys and follow directions
