Travel Registered Nurse Infusion Job

Overview Infusion RN – Travel assignment in Robinson, IL. This Registered Nurse role specializes in infusion and is a 13‑week, travel temporary assignment starting 08/10/2026 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Pay ranges from $2,321 to $2,506 per week. Work is in a hospital setting with dayshift coverage (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). This position reports to the Consulting Services Director and has no direct reports. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the infusion/consulting services department, prioritizing patient safety and timely flow
• Perform accurate patient assessments; monitor and reassess pain and comfort; document findings in the medical record
• Initiate IV access (central venous devices or peripheral) and administer blood products or drug infusions as ordered
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, risks, and follow-up instructions, including any provided handouts
• Prepare and administer medications per policy and nursing standards; manage medication supplies and coordinate with the pharmacy to ensure uninterrupted therapy
• Assist practitioners with procedures; utilize specialty equipment; participate in interdisciplinary care and hand-offs; adhere to safety and infection control practices
• Safely handle antineoplastic agents and chemotherapy/immunotherapy therapies following established safety protocols and policies

Requirements

• Active IL Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; chemotherapy infusion experience preferred
• Strong computer skills with EMR navigation ability
• Ability to multi-task, work independently within a team, and adapt to changes in assignment
