Production TechnicianThe Temporary Production Technician is responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production and packaging equipment within our food manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring continuous production flow and product quality, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Be the first to join our team at a brand new fast-paced food manufacturing plant dedicated to producing high-quality products.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Production Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 21.25 to $ 22.75 / hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts availableThis position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule, requiring availability on all days of the week (Sunday-Saturday) during your rotation.Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM - $21.25/hrNight Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM- $22.75/hrOperate various production and packaging machinery according to established procedures.Monitor equipment performance, product quality, and process parameters to ensure compliance with specifications.Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment to resolve issues and minimize downtime.Conduct equipment changeovers and setups as required.Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Maintain a clean and organized work area.Document production activities and equipment status accurately.Production Technician Qualifications:Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods during a 12-hour shiftManual dexterity for operating equipment and performing minor adjustments.2 years of experience working with and on automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical mechanical equipment1 years prior experience monitoring and performing product quality testing Computer and software skills (Microsoft Office)Basic understanding and application of mathematical skills to make production calculations and perform loss and waste analysisApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
