Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Centennial, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Overview This position offers critical nursing services across multiple facilities within the designated zone. Nurses will provide care to a diverse population, including adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions. Floating Expectations Travelers are required to float within a 60-mile radius of the assigned zone, covering various locations. Housing must be arranged to accommodate this requirement. Schedule and Shifts Typical shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance and may vary based on two formats: Option A: Scheduled at a single facility for the week, with the possibility of floating within that facility. Option B: Just-In-Time (JIT) assignments, where facility assignments are given 1-2 hours before shift starts. Weekend requirements: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. May be asked to work holidays as part of the holiday rotation. Responsibilities Nurses will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including: Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Floating to various units as needed, including potentially higher acuity areas such as ICU and PCU. Patient Demographics and Conditions The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as: Cardiac issues Neurological conditions Orthopedic needs Oncological care Renal treatment Post-surgical recoveries General medicine Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience. Previous experience in neuro nursing is preferred. Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Additional Information All travelers will need to submit a two-week notice to avoid penalties associated with contract changes.
