Summary: Receives, orders, inventories, stores and issues items (food, drugs, equipment, chemicals, products, etc.) throughout the facility and off-site locations. This position performs these duties in both patient and non-patient related care areas and is assigned to a variety of departments throughout UNC Hospitals.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with patient and other transportation as requested
• Loads and unloads supplies. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked.
• Maintains invoices and other records.
• Maintains storage areas in safe, neat and clean condition.
• Receives, orders, inventories, stores and distributes supplies.
• User consultation--meets with users to fulfill needs.

Education Requirements: None required. Licensure/Certification Requirements: If a Driver: Valid NC Driver's license Professional Experience Requirements: No prior experience required. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
