Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping your customers succeed? ALCO-Chem, Inc. is seeking a personable, energetic, and outgoing Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Since 1969, ALCO has been a family-owned, Ohio-based manufacturer and distributor of cleaning chemicals, janitorial supplies, equipment, and food service solutions. We proudly serve a variety of markets including schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, food processing facilities, contract cleaners, industrial and manufacturing operations, commercial buildings, hospitality businesses, long-term care and laundry operations throughout Northeast Ohio. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing your own territory by maintaining strong relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities. You'll serve as an ambassador of our company and a trusted resource to your customers, helping them improve efficiency, solve cleaning and sanitation challenges, and find the right products and services for their operation.

As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide exceptional service and support to your customers while coordinating with internal departments to ensure their needs are met. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building long-term relationships, and making a direct impact on business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives
• Prospect and secure new business
• Conduct customer site visits and identify opportunities for product and service improvements
• Present solutions through product demonstrations, equipment demonstrations, and staff training
• Generate quotes, enter orders, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels and usage trends within customer accounts
• Expand sales through cross-selling and introduction of new products and services
• Maintain knowledge of ALCO products, services, and industry trends

Qualifications for Outside Sales Representative Include:

• 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably outside sales
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales goals
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Relationship building skills
• Reliable vehicle, insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
