Field Clinical Specialist - Shockwave - Lafayette/Lake Charles, LA

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Field Clinical Specialist to support Shockwave Medical's intravascular lithotripsy technology in the Lafayette/Lake Charles area. The role involves providing case support for peripheral and coronary interventional procedures, conducting physician training, and supporting clinical studies across assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and procedural case coverage to physicians and hospital staff on medical device use
• Present clinical study training materials and manage relationships with key study investigators
• Support clinical research activities including device training, case support, and data collection
• Coordinate site retraining and resolve critical issues with cross-functional clinical colleagues
• Manage territory travel, budgets, and administrative activities related to training procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, nursing, or related field
• 2+ years supporting interventional/surgical procedures in hospital setting, or 1+ year industry life sciences experience
• Knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory compliance
• Product knowledge including medical device reporting and product vigilance
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
• Ability to travel >50% and work independently in remote capacity
