OR Nurse (RN) | Webster, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room nurse
• Proficient in circulating and scrubbing duties
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and OR documentation standards
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Schedule:

• Contract assignment (duration to be discussed)
• Rotating weekday shifts with occasional weekend or on-call requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in the perioperative setting
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures, anticipating team needs
• Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Document patient responses, interventions, and progress accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to optimize outcomes
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols consistently
