Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Progressive Care Unit Rn Opportunity

Provide specialized nursing care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through assessment, planning, and implementation of care. The RN will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to monitor and support patient recovery during 13-week assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and formulate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical patient care.
• Ability to work a 7 pm 7 am schedule with flexibility for variable shifts.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
