Multifamily Business Development ManagerSeeking a Multifamily Business Development Manager responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing new Property Management Agreements (PMAs). This role blends high level business development, financial analysis, executive communication, and contract negotiation within the multifamily industry.Key Responsibilities:Identify, engage, and secure new third party management client opportunitiesBuild and maintain relationships with institutional and private ownership groupsRepresent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade associationsDevelop and deliver executive level proposals and presentationsAnalyze and discuss NOI, IRR, cap rates, operating margins, lease up strategies, budgeting, and balance sheet performanceEvaluate property financials and present strategic operating plans to ownership groups and asset managersLead negotiations for PMAs including management fee structures, lease up fees, construction oversight fees, and performance incentivesCollaborate with executive leadership and legal teams to finalize agreementsSupport insurance and risk related discussions with ownership groups and brokersPartner with operations and regional leadership during onboarding and transition planningBuild long term relationships with institutional investors, private equity firms, developers, and property ownersQualifications:10+ years of multifamily experience in business development, operations, asset management, or related backgroundExperience working with institutional investors or large portfolio owners preferredStrong background negotiating contracts or service agreementsStrong financial acumen and ability to present property performance metricsProven ability to develop relationships and close new businessExcellent presentation and executive communication skillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to travel as neededCore Competencies:Financial fluency including NOI, IRR, cap rates, and budgetingStrong negotiation and closing skillsStrategic thinking and market awarenessExecutive presence and adaptabilityRelationship driven business development approachAbility to manage long and complex sales cycles
