AI Strategy & Product Management - Data and AI, Vice President

Who we are looking for:This is a leadership position in Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAIO) team. Our primary objective is to lead & drive transformational AI efforts across STT’s processes and functions; partner with business and technology teams to design and implement transformational AI across people, process and technology.As a member of the CDAIO Team, the incumbent will partner with technology teams, third parties, and with stakeholders across different business teams, corporate functions & regions, to identify opportunities & work with business units and various other stakeholders to design and implement transformational Artificial Intelligence, using world class tools and techniques.What you will be responsible for:As a VP - AI Strategy & Product Management you will:Enterprise Data & AI Strategy:Lead and partner with the business leads to design, assess and address strategic opportunities: from framing up-front work plans to crafting and executing on the analyses and steps outlined in those plansIdentify high-value opportunities by understanding what drives value for clients and a particular Business unit / functional areaTranslate strategy into clear product-aligned roadmaps that support design of an end-state that relies on the latest AI offeringsDevelop an in-depth understanding of business processes, functions, teams, and incumbent technologyProduct & Portfolio Management and Execution Tracking:Drive rollout & deployment of “self-service” technology platforms; to enable faster adoption of our AI CapabilitiesAnchor all phases and aspects of AI opportunity identification, such as data & requirements gathering, (e.g. user stories) baselining, root cause analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data modeling & future state AI designsSupport creation of technology MVPs that support business and technology outcomes. Assess the feasibility and drive the AI strategy, to include all aspects of automation, AI and ML across STT’s footprint.Conduct core project management activities including facilitating meetings, interviewing stakeholders, hosting workshops, documenting findings, and creating stakeholder presentationsEnable detailed evaluation of proposed solutions / changes by creating business case details; cost vs. benefits, ROI, and tradeoffs (build vs. buy)Executive & Client (Internal & External) Communication:Liaise with Investor Relations to proactively support the CDAIO strategy and address key questionsCreate materials required to support future state socialization and execution (eg: Strategy presentations, detailed Requirement & process flow diagrams, job aids, POC’s etc.)Portfolio Governance:Ensure our delivery team has the highest likelihood of success, and all risks are managed by demonstrating consistent and proactive ownership of assigned responsibilities for standard work products, version control, model lifecycle, and Quality ControlTeam Leadership:Lead and develop a global team (1- 5) to capture and express AI strategy execution and requirements & design in business services by fostering a culture of precision and clarity, strong execution discipline, and high-quality output.Skills:These skills will help you succeed in this role:Experience with strategy, product management, or portfolio leadership and supportStrong background in data platforms and data strategy, as well as AI/ML and Generative AIBeing comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to work well with teams, particularly ones that span different reporting lines, cut across multiple functions and geographiesStrong analytical skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision makingEducation & Preferred Qualifications:AI Capability & Product Management experienceBusiness Consulting experience leading large-scale implementation programs in consulting or financial services industryBusiness Process Re-Engineering – Workflow, AI & Process Automation experience (from current state thru target state and implantation)12+ years of experienceKnowledge of AI / automation technologies and/or a master’s degree will be an added advantageAbility to build stakeholder networks, effective collaboration and partnership capabilities and ability to influence at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and proven experience in working with large cross functional teams will be a plusSalary Range: $120,000 - $217,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
