Refurbishment Technician

Refurbishment TechnicianResponsible Manager: Supervisor, In-House Machines & RefurbishmentLocation: Pflugerville, Texas OnsiteWe are looking for a Refurbishment Technician to be responsible for restoring industrial additive manufacturing systems, by installing, repairing, replacing and reassembling equipment to ensure it meets operational standards and safety regulations. This person will be involved in detailed troubleshooting, component replacement and calibration/testing of refurbished machines and adhering to quality control procedures to the highest standards.Your Mission•Installation of equipment at EOS facilities to ensure full functionality according to EOS specifications.•Refurbishment of used EOS equipment for re-sale to customers; inspect and identify worn or damaged components/technical issues, assessing the extent of repairs needed.•Conduct thorough inspections and testing to ensure refurbished equipment meets quality standards and safety regulations.•Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, components used and inspection findings.•Communicate and maintain service records and field service reports.•Manage EOS service tools and spare parts inventory to ensure accurate inventory of company assigned assets.•Perform any other duties as assigned.Ability to lift 35lb unassisted.Your Talents•Minimum 1 year of experience in servicing industrial equipment.•Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical/mechanical engineering technology.•Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.•Ability to use written, oral, schematic and diagram engineering instructions.•Possess computer knowledge (PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS-Office).•Availability to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.•Availability to work Monday – Friday onsite at Pflugerville facility.•Ability to work independently as well as within a team.•Professional appearance and conduct, with good communication skills.•Valid driver's license.Our VisionOver 1000 sharp minds, about 60 nationalities, one goal: accelerating the world's transition to Responsible Manufacturing.Our proven technology, industrial 3D printing, has been extending the boundaries of manufacturing for over 30 years.We work globally networked and prefer to think outside the box – and we're looking for people who want to shape the future with us.EOS welcomes individuals from all backgrounds, ensuring equal opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, expression, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
