Recreation Attendant Valley Country Club, located in Aurora, CO, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Recreation Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Pay $15.16 - $17.00 per hour General Purpose Performs all recreation duties and activities related to facility operations, including youth programs, daily activity programs, holidays, special events, and conference activities. Essential Duties Maintain cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities; answer guest questions regarding such programs Record all cash, checks, and charges based on established cash control procedures Maintain understanding of operating procedures for pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipment Complete checklists for opening, closing, and daily procedures Take direction from the Facility Coordinator, Special Event and Youth Coordinator, and Conference Recreation Coordinator Assist in the implementation of programs, youth programs, special events, and conference recreation events Provide a safe environment within facilities and activities Process recreation reservations as needed Incorporate safe work practices in job performance Regular and reliable attendance Perform other duties as required Physical Demands Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, and hears Regularly reaches with hands and arms; may taste or smell Occasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds Environment/Noise Frequently works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in high or precarious places, and may come into contact with toxic or caustic chemicals Noise level is moderate Certificates/Licenses CPR and First Aid Certification. Education/Experience No prior experience or training required. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for equipment may be in English).
