GLPP - CMA or LPN - GL Pediatrics

Grand Lake Pediatric, Grand Lake Pediatrics, 1010 Hager St, St. Marys, OH 45885, USA Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Full time, 72 hours per pay period Duties and Key Responsibilities Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary clinical personnel. Places the patient at the center of care. Collaborates and interacts positively with providers and other medical practice staff to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. May be required to support clinical colleagues according to patient volumes/acuity. Completes clinical assessments of the patient by completing a history of present disease and illnesses with accuracy and documents appropriately in the patient's electronic medical record. Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in implementing physician orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, physicians, co-workers and public. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or will be graduating in 6 months of hire. Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or other certifying body as deemed acceptable by the Practice Manager or will obtain this credentialing within 6 months of hire. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed LPN. Experience Previous experience with electronic medical records Previous experience in a Pediatric office is preferred, but not required.
