Experience
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience
- Expert-level proficiency inKotlin; strong knowledge of Java
- Architecture
- Hands-on experience withMVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVI patterns Security
- Experience implementingbiometric authentication, encryption, certificate pinning, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect
- Testing
- Proficiency with JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric
- CI/CD
- Experience setting upautomated build and deployment pipelines
- API Integration
- Strong experience withREST APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data (WebSockets)
- Play Store
- Experience with Google Play Console, app signing, staged rollouts, and release management
- Version Control
- Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience building mobile applications in the financial services, wealth management, or brokerage industry
- Familiarity with financial data standards (FIX protocol, market data feeds)
- Experience with cross-platform parity projects (replicating iOS apps on Android or vice versa)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for financial mobile apps (SOC 2, data privacy regulations)
- Experience with analytics and crash reporting tools (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Datadog)
- Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistency across platforms
- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools and practices
