Staff Pharmacist

Salary: $50.00–$60.00 per hour
Location: Onsite in Lawrence, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM CST with an every 5-week on-call rotation

Our client, a national long-term care pharmacy, is hiring s Staff Pharmacist to join their team. With approximately 25 employees onsite, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where your contributions make a difference every day.

What You'll Do
• Manage pharmacy workflow processes, including pharmacist verification and medication labeling and packaging.
• Review medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including requirements established by the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
• Maintain all required pharmacist licenses and certifications in good standing.
• Perform all responsibilities with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge.

What You Bring
• Active Kansas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License.
• Experience with document management systems such as Docutrack or ECM is preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and de-escalate issues within the pharmacy.
