Warehouse Associate I

Job Summary The Warehouse Associate I supports daily warehouse logistics to operate at maximum efficiency. This position is primarily responsible for various warehouse tasks such as shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols. Core Responsibilities Manage order pulling by pulling customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring accuracy based on the item number, serial numbers, size, quantity, etc. Pulling and loading for SupplySight. Manage Will Calls. Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match the inventory records. Perform regular cycle counts (1st count). Receiving and Unloading Receive warehouse orders physically, inspect items, match them to a purchase order, log into warehouse management system, and follow up on delays. Promptly load and unload palletized freight; move products and supplies from receiving or storage to shipping and other designated areas. Organize and maintain stock orders prior to shelving. Stock shelves efficiently and organized. Perform cycle count (2nd count) and verify inventory records. Handle non-conforming products per company policies, OSHA, and internal procedures. Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas. Maintain warehouse shelving for optimal efficiency; check shelf-life and dispose expired inventory safely. Ensure the warehouse facility and work area remain clean and promote a healthy, safe environment. Safely operate motorized forklift and standard equipment; conduct daily inspections. Shipping Manage shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies via UPS, FedEx, and other freight companies. Label orders and prepare for shipping, handling hazardous and non-hazardous items per OSHA and internal protocols. Perform final inspection before shipping. Quality Control Inspect products for defects and damages. Perform other job duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1 to 2 years of related experience. Time management. Hard Skills Heavy equipment/machine operation: forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, pallet ramp, etc. Order fulfillment – receiving and unloading, packing, and shipping. Inventory control: physical inventories and cycle counts, key inventory adjustments on computer. Product inspection for defects/damages. Basic mathematical skills. Basic computer skills (MS basics), data entry for UPS and FedEx shipping web services. Basic knowledge of safety compliance. Physical Requirements Operate standard warehouse equipment such as forklift, hand truck, pallet jack. Lift/pull/push up to 100 lbs. Full range of body movements, including hand function for handling and feeling objects. Ability to bend, reach, and crouch as required. Vision: close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Working Conditions Work in a manual-warehouse environment on feet; significant lifting over long shifts; physical fitness desirable.
