Senior EngineerJob Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Required Skills and Experience• ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly the IT Asset Management (ITAM) and SAM Pro modules.• Technical Skills: Experience with ServiceNow customizations and data management.• Software Licensing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various software license models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP).• ITAM Principles: Strong understanding of IT Asset Management principles and best practices.• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.• ITIL Practices: Demonstrated understanding of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) practices.Roles & Responsibilities• Implementation and Configuration: Design, implement, and configure the ServiceNow SAM Pro module.• Lifecycle Management: Manage the software asset lifecycle from request and procurement to deployment, usage, optimization, and retirement.• Integration: Integrate SAM with other ServiceNow modules Automation: Automate processes such as software license harvesting, software reclamation, and compliance checks.• Compliance and Auditing: Conduct regular software compliance audits and create remediation plans to ensure adherence to software license agreements.• Optimization: Optimize software licensing and usage, reduce costs by eliminating redundancies, and ensure proper software distribution.• Data Management: Ensure data quality and integrity within the SAM module, CMDB, and Discovery.• Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track software usage, compliance, and optimization efforts.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Vendors to align SAM strategies with business objectives.Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 Per AnnumLocation: Plano, TX
