Security / Loss Prevention OfficerImmediate Opening for a Full-Time Loss Prevention OfficerJob Description:Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV CamerasReport WritingInteracting with local Law Enforcement as neededProvide Courtroom Testimony when requiredJob Requirement:Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug ScreeningAbility to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a timeReliable transportationAbility to read, write and speak English proficientlyAbility to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written meansAbility to write legible, accurate and easily understood reportsMust be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontationMust be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervisionAttendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not toleratedPrevious Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirementCriminal Justice or related studies a plusHigh School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
