JOB DESCRIPTION:

Need for Weekend and PTO Coverage

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Phlebotomists prepare blood samples and clean and sterilize equipment, following strict safety precautions. Must work well under pressure and be sensitive to confidentiality and accuracy in recording a patient's blood history. Has direct contact with patients and must create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures, taking blood pressure, pulse and respiration readings.

• Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
• Drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Bedside manner.
• ttention to detail, procedural skills, quality focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

High school diploma or GED required.

Years of Experience

Certification/Licensure

Certified Phlebotomy Technician
