Mental Health Partner - Inpatient Pediatric Psychiatry - Days - PRN

The Mental Health Partner provides direct, age-specific mental health care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients being treated for psychiatric illness based on the interdisciplinary plan of care, under the direction of an RN.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/ALicensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:CPR certificationExperience REQUIRED: N/AExperience PREFERRED:Experience working with children or adults with emotional and mental disordersExperience providing patient care on an inpatient psychiatric hospital unitEducation/training REQUIRED:Bachelor's Degree in a human services field (counseling, psychology, social work, or related field).Education/training PREFERRED:At least one year of supplemental related training working with emotional and mental disordersIndependent action(s) required:Functions under the direction of a LIP, manager and RN in providing relationship-based and age-specific care to psychiatric patients including emotional support using therapeutic communication, developing skills in thinking and responding, assisting with the development and maintenance of a safe and therapeutic milieu; all in accordance with hospital, nursing and unit policy/procedure. Job duties may include the handling, transportation, access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies.Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): N/AAdditional position requirements:Work all three shifts, weekends and holidays. Compensation Range

$18.39 - $28.51

Actual salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
