Job Title: RN - BMT/ONC Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification Must-Have: - Oncology experience - Chemo certification through ONS/ONCC with 15.25 contact hours Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology. The role includes administering chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, as well as blood product administration. Nurses must have documented competency in administering chemotherapy and adhere to established safety protocols. Candidates are required to have experience with TCT and the full ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification. The position does not require on-call duties. Teamwork and attention to detail are critical for success in this role. This unit consists of 24 beds with a patient to nurse ratio of 1:3 or 1:4. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Personal protective measures are enforced, including specific dress code requirements.
