Position Summary

This role is more than a SERVER, it is an opportunity to be a part of a team that brings people together through food, culture, and shared experience. At Alisio`s we see service as an extension of our story, where each interaction helps create a meaningful and memorable dining journey for our guests.

As a SERVER, you are at the heart of that experience. You will guide guests through the menu with knowledge and care, deliver thoughtful and attentive service and help create a warm, welcoming environment where every guest feels connected and valued.

Job Responsibilities

• Educate customers about food, ingredients and culture
• Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting a menu, offering cocktails, suggesting courses, identifying appropriate wines and answering food and preparation questions
• Be personable, always greet patrons, engage with a positive attitude, and make a point to remember regulars
• Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a family and warm atmosphere
• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately with a positive attitude
• Enter orders in computers for transmission to kitchen staff
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer customer to management to necessary
• Collect payments from tables
• Prepare checks that itemize the total meal costs and sales taxes
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Fill in for absent staff as needed
• Comply with health and safety codes

Qualifications

• Team player + positive attitude
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent oral communication skills required
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• 1 year Front-of-House (FOH) experience as a server/food-runner/host
• Service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to acquire a valid Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification. RBS (alcohol) certification (before or within 2 + weeks of hiring)
