We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. This position is ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' physical rehabilitation needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and progress.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to aid recovery.
• Educating patients and their families about rehabilitation, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Documenting patient progress in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

The position will generally follow a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional early morning starts for patient care. One Saturday per month may be required.

Additional Information

The role involves working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with a total of 16 beds, and there will be no requirement to float to other units. Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
