Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit Travel
- Provide critical care nursing for ICU patients with a patient ratio of 1:2
- Perform advanced procedures including intubation, extubation, and central line placement
- Collaborate with medical team to deliver trauma and surgical ICU care
- Monitor patients using advanced equipment, such as GE Carescape monitors and ventilators
- Ensure accurate documentation using Cerner Power Chart
- Float to other ICUs or Step Down units as needed
Requirements of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit Travel
- Valid Nursing License
- Active ACLS and BLS Certifications
- Experience in Trauma ICU (Level I or II Trauma Centers) and Surgical ICU
- Proficiency in acute care ICU skills
