What You'll Need: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program ARRT (ARRT) Certification in Radiation Therapy. Valid Pennsylvania state Radiation Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or radiation oncology clinic. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience administering external beam radiation therapy and operating linear accelerators. Experience collaborating with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists. Client-Specific Requirements (Minimum Qualifications) ARRT certification required. Current state Radiation Therapy license required; candidate must be able to practice in the hiring state. BLS certification required. Prior experience in a hospital-based radiation oncology department preferred. Experience with treatment planning verification, patient immobilization techniques, and operation of linear accelerators required.
