School Nurse Contract Position

• Active RN license in the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred

• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Dedication to promoting healthy school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for students, including emergency intervention and chronic condition management
• Coordinate care for students with individualized health plans (IHPs) or 504 plans
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures according to district protocols
• Maintain confidential health records and documentation
• Offer health education to students and staff, promoting preventive care and wellness
• Communicate sensitively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student needs
• Support the school community's overall health and safety efforts
