Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health

Maternal Child Health NurseProvides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.Department: Maternal Child Health, (3) 12 hour shifts, primarily days and nights, every other weekend, rotating holidays and on call shifts.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 6-month introductory period. Minimum one year Labor & Delivery or Obstetrical experience. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.Preferred:Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Maternal Child Health/Labor & Delivery/Obstetrical experience. Certification in this specialty area.
