Assistant Property Manager

Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ardmore, PA. This position supports day-to-day property operations, including responding to resident inquiries, coordinating maintenance requests, and assisting with vendor scheduling and oversight. The role includes helping with lease administration, move-ins and move-outs, rent collection, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Assistant Property Manager also contributes to property inspections, enforcement of community policies, and presentation of units and common areas. This role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure a high standard of service, smooth building operations, and positive resident experiences. Qualifications Experience in property management or real estate operations, including resident relations and basic lease administration. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, documentation, and deadlines efficiently. Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal team members. Proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, property management systems) and comfort learning new tools. Ability to perform on-site responsibilities, conduct property walk-throughs, and coordinate maintenance activities. Customer service mindset, problem-solving skills, and professionalism when addressing concerns or resolving issues. High level of reliability, integrity, and attention to detail in handling payments, records, and confidential information. Prior experience in residential or investment property management and familiarity with the Philadelphia area is a plus.
