Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a PCU/IMC night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• IMC/Stepdown unit with 32 beds
• Staffing includes RNs, PCTs, and Tele Monitor Techs on each shift
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Equipment used includes IV pumps, SCD pumps, Bipap/Cpap, and tele monitors
• EMR system is Meditech
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends every other weekend
• No call requirements
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required
• BSN preferred
• PCCN certification preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide pre and post-operative care
• Manage drip titration and non-titration drips
• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• No local candidates accepted
