Entry Level Phlebotomist

Job Description This is a fully part‑time role with shifts lasting 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week. Availability and shift days will be confirmed early in the interview process, and you will be informed of any schedule changes in advance. We’ll confirm your availability and shift days and times early in the interview process. Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so your reliability during your scheduled hours is valued. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor care while ensuring safety. Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. routinely and occasionally lift materials up to 32 lbs.; rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1). 1 or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful. Benefits & Compensation U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $18.00 per hour. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
