Advancing Potential. Position Summary LADACIN is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our school-based therapy team. This part-time position provides occupational therapy services to students with multiple physical and developmental disabilities in a collaborative transdisciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for supporting students through evaluation, consultation, and evidence-based interventions while implementing occupational therapy goals and objectives outlined in each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP). Key Responsibilities Provide transdisciplinary evaluation, consultation, and implementation of therapy plans using evidence-based interventions for students. Conduct ongoing assessments, review outcomes, and modify therapeutic interventions to maximize student progress and assist in the development and refinement of IEP goals and objectives. Participate in planning, conducting, and documenting transdisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings and family conferences. Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation for assigned students. Submit SEMI reports and document student interactions in the electronic system as required. Ensure IEP therapy hours are met for assigned students and maintain up-to-date schedules for service delivery. Train and support teachers, parents, and paraprofessionals in delegated therapeutic techniques and equipment use. Assist in the selection, adaptation, management, and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and supplies. Collaborate with school staff, families, and other members of the transdisciplinary team. Maintain compliance with all applicable professional, state licensing, and Agency standards. Required Qualifications Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current State of New Jersey Occupational Therapy license and certification by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy. New Jersey Department of Education School Occupational Therapist certification. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with administrators, colleagues, school-based staff, students, parents, and community members. Must pass required criminal background clearances and screenings.
