Main OR RN – Operating Room Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a main operating room setting
• Support and participate in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic surgical cases
• Fulfill call rotation requirements, including two to three 12-hour weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) per six-week schedule, covering both day and overnight call windows
• Participate in a weekly on-call shift with the expectation of remaining up to two hours beyond the standard shift end to cover cases that extend past scheduled hours (compensated as on-call time)
• Assist with holiday call coverage as needed when holidays fall on weekdays

Required Qualifications

• Active Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic surgical specialties

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center operating room environment
• Ability to adapt to varied surgical specialties and fast-paced case loads
