Position Details:

• Location: St. Anthonys Hospital, 1200 7th Ave N., St. Petersburg, FL 33705
• Status: Fulltime
• Shift: 6:30AM - 7:00PM
• On Call: Yes
• Always in person

Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience; we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room.

Minimum Qualifications:

Specific Skills:

• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
• Applicable certification such as CNOR, preferred
