Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring timely and effective treatment of acutely ill or injured patients. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and continuously monitor their status.
• Develop and implement urgent care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Coordinate care delivery with physicians, technicians, and support staff.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Perform emergency procedures and administer medications as prescribed.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Required: At least two years of recent experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
