Responsibilities:

• Support front and back office operations, including greeting and rooming patients
• Schedule appointments and answer patient questions via phone
• Take vital signs and perform clinical tasks such as drawing blood and administering vaccines
• Maintain collaborative relationships with staff to ensure smooth workflow
• Participate in health education and outreach activities as needed
• Support general clinic functions related to patient care and administrative tasks

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (beyond externship)
• Strong proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Attention to detail and strong computer skills

Additional Skills & Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational health experience strongly preferred
• Experience with fee collection and dispensing medical supplies a plus
• Work schedule may include early morning hours, with some shifts in July and August
• Candidate must be comfortable working with patients aged 10 and above
• FNP experience or certification is required for this role
