RN Case Manager

Care ManagerThe Care Manager ensures the patient's progress throughout the period of care in an efficient and effective manner. Using nationally recognized, established clinical decision support criteria, the Care Manager recommends the appropriateness of services, level of care, and setting for all admissions. The Care Manager acts as a patient advocate and communication link among patient, family, providers, and payers.Minimum Requirements:NJ Licensed RNMinimum 1 year experience in Care Management/Insurance Management or 1 year of RN experience in clinical data assessment and administrationKnowledge and expertise in computer skills include, Microsoft Word, and EXCELDemonstrated ability to work in a complex setting, excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality at all times in keeping with hospital policyPreferred Requirements:BSN from an accredited institution preferred3 years experience in hospital utilization management and care managementCCMCNORSalary - $42.78 - $57.02 hourly (based on experience)Shore Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
