CDL Driver Class A

Reports to: Operations Manager

Essential Functions:

• On time deliveries, pre- and post-trip inspections, responsible transporting of materials and equipment being transported to locations or job sites.
• Keeping your vehicle clean and ensuring maintenance.
• Maintain up to date medical card.
• Drive a company vehicle while on duty in a legal, safe and professional manner.
• Loading, securing and unloading equipment.
• Complying with all DOT laws.
• Verifying loads for accuracy.
• Reporting any defects or deficiencies with truck or trailer or load to their direct supervisor immediately and prior to leaving shop/location.
• Logging all hours on duty, driving and off duty legally.
• Your role in the PO policy Process.
• Presenting yourself and representing Titan in a professional manner.
• Maintaining appropriate work relationships.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Helping in other divisions and other tasks from time to time as needed.
• Running trash dumpster to landfill when needed.
• Washing and patching containment when CDL duties are not needed.
• Delivering equipment and material to pad for full site jobs and staying to help as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of DOT regulations.
• Load Securement.
• Ability to load and unload equipment such as manlifts, loaders, telehandlers.
• Ability to drive a Company Vehicle in a legal, safe and professional manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and customers.
• Basic math skills required.
• Knowledge of FMCSA policies.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.

Job Experience: 2+ yrs. driving experience, 1+ yrs. load securement experience.

Computer Proficiency: Ability to utilize timekeeping system, smart phone, and some computer skills.

Training: CLASS A CDL, Current Medical Card.

Working Conditions:

• Physical Requirements: Long periods of driving, standing, crouching, lifting and bending.
• Capability of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Capability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/ wind/rain/snow.
• Must pass pre-employment fit test.

Travel Requirements: May be required out of town/state. Travel up to 25% of time.

Starting Pay: $29.00 per hour. Competitive Benefits Package, Paid Holidays and Vacation Days.
