Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to acutely ill adults within an inpatient unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions; administer medications and treatments per orders; document findings
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers to coordinate care plans
• Uphold standards described in the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and safe care transitions
• Maintain patient safety and infection control practices; ensure accurate and timely charting

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license to practice in Georgia
• Ability to meet the standards and practices outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics
• Experience working in an acute care setting is relevant to the role
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in a travel assignment schedule
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a diverse care team
