Direct Care Staff

- Adhere to the requirement and regulations as set forth by the Alabama Department of Mental Health.Adhere to the policy and procedures of Oui Care. Including safeguarding confidential healthcare information and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. - Report any allegations of Abuse of Neglect - Perform additional duties directed by Executive Director - Ensure the safety and basic care of the individuals living in Oui Care Homes - Supervise and provide basic care of individuals as indicated - Prepare and supervise meals and snacks - Plan and facilitate all recreational and leisure time - Keep homes clean and laundry done - Attends staff meeting and training as required - Provide input in staff meeting to develop individual habilitation plan - Follow individual Behavior Plans and Habilitation Plans - Document Daily Activity and Meal Intake - Transport Individual as indicated - Administer and record medication after MAC - May require pushing or pulling or frequent lifting or moving up to 25 lbs.
