This per diem position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services at a managed pharmacy location in Brunswick, GA, situated conveniently between Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL. The role involves working closely with pharmacy technicians in a supportive environment, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.
Location: Brunswick, GA
Schedule:
- Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Oversee retail pharmacy operations including opening and closing duties
- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to maintain a high standard of service
- Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on prescription usage and safety
- Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system to manage pharmacy workflow efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including handling 340B program requirements if applicable
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to provide excellent customer service and patient care
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
- Proven background working in retail/community pharmacy settings
- Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and managing store opening and closing procedures
- Prior experience with 340B program preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with Datascan by WinPharm system is an asset
