Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care before, during, and after cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and readiness for cardiac procedures.
• Deliver competent clinical care supporting the cardiac team during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Document patient care accurately, including assessments, interventions, and patient responses, in compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintain professionalism by adhering to policies, participating in professional development, and demonstrating clinical judgment.
• Foster patient and family satisfaction through courteous, compassionate communication and education.
• Uphold safety standards by following Universal Protocol, utilizing proper transfer techniques, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license in good standing.
• Have at least 2 years of critical care or cardiac catheterization experience.
• Hold BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, equipment, and emergency response.
