Work Environment

This full-time position is performed onsite at our hospital facility in Red Bluff, where our state-of-the-art equipment and supportive atmosphere ensure that our team can provide the highest standard of care. The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists with thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing various assessment tools to gauge physical capabilities, strength, and functional abilities.
• Implement tailored treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, focusing on exercises and interventions designed to increase strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to address specific musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, ensuring holistic patient care.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to facilitate well-rounded patient treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and lifestyle adjustments that promote recovery and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment methods, and discharge instructions in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and ensure current practices in physical therapy are applied.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant will work with a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited program is required.
• Current California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
