Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active NJ PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year experience working as a PTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL training, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of common durable medical equipment preferred.
• Ability to assist with documentation in electronic medical record systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
• Scheduled days: 5x8.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week; scheduled as 40 hours.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
