Respiratory Therapist – RRT / CRT – Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD Full‑time, day shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm) with night shift openings available. A sign‑on bonus of up to $10,000 is available. Key Highlights: Sign‑on bonus up to $10,000 Tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees and specialty certifications Free on‑site parking Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire 403(b) retirement plan with employer match and pension Paid time off, short‑ and long‑term disability, and life insurance Employee wellness programs and fitness discounts What You’ll Do: Administer therapeutic gases, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, and the full range of respiratory treatments Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertions, mini‑BALs, chest physiotherapy, and CPR Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and adjust therapy based on clinical response Respond to rapid response and code events across ICU, Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and inpatient units Collaborate with pulmonologists, intensivists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the medical record Required Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care (Bachelor’s preferred) Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required within 1 year of hire 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) working toward RRT credentialing will be considered Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team‑first approach to patient care We offer a structured preceptor program for new graduates and a clinical ladder for experienced therapists, along with specialty credentialing support (ECMO, adult critical care, neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, pulmonary function testing).
