Cybersecurity AI Forward Deployed Engineer

Salary: $87,400 - 305,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 8 years of engineering experience in production environments, with deep cybersecurity expertise in one or more areas such as AppSec, SecOps/detection engineering, cloud security, IAM, offensive security/penetration testing, or GRC.
• We require at least 1 year of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in a production setting; theoretical exposure is not sufficient.
• We need at least 6 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in a client-embedded or production environment; advisory-only or compliance-only experience does not qualify.
• We require at least 6 years of experience with cloud security fundamentals on at least one platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, network security, secrets management, and AI service security configuration.
• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent experience, or an associates degree with the required amount of work experience.
• We need proven ability to communicate security risk in business language and translate threat exposure into investment decisions a CISO or CFO would support.
• We need people leadership experience, including managing, developing, and performance-managing engineers, as well as setting development plans and holding career discussions.

• We lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments across complex client environments, including LLM systems, multi-agent pipelines, RAG architectures, and MLOps infrastructure.
• We deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools as our primary build environment to create AI-powered detection systems, automated response tooling, security assessment frameworks, and governance automation.
• We own AI threat surface management at programme scale, including OWASP LLM Top 10 controls, prompt injection hardening, model extraction prevention, adversarial input defenses, and AI supply chain security.
• We architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack, including identity and access, data pipeline security, model serving security, and integration risk across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We lead implementation of AI governance frameworks such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and model risk management for live production systems.
• We shape AI reinvention security strategy for client CISO and CTO stakeholders by building risk-adjusted investment cases, security roadmaps, and AI governance operating models aligned to business outcomes.
• We define and publish reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators that can scale across multiple client engagements and strengthen the Secure AI practice.
• We lead architecture design sessions, threat modeling workshops, and code-with sessions with client engineering and security leadership teams.
• We may travel as needed, with travel requirements varying from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
