Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

Shift: Must be flexible - will likely be nights - 4p-4a / 5p-5a / 6p-6a - 3/3/1 rotation, every other weekend off

Compensation: $75-82k base salary DOE, overtime pay, bonus opportunity, relocation

Location: Memphis, TN (South Memphis area)

Global food manufacturer is in search of an experienced Production Supervisor to join its team, focused on leadership of food manufacturing lines within its state-of-the-art, heavily-automated facility in Memphis, TN. This position will supervise hourly union associates on automated processing and packaging lines and will be accountable for production targets, safety, and quality within the plant.

Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

At least 2-3 years of demonstrated production leadership experience within a highly automated food manufacturing plant.
Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, as well as GMPs and HACCP / SQF / GFSI / PCQI standards
Ability to lead union associates from the floor, including adherence to 5S and lean manufacturing principles
Must have excellent communication skills and systems ability
Flexibility with shift is absolutely essential - this role will likely be assigned to the NIGHT shift, 4p-4a / 5p-5a / 6p-6a - 3/3/1 rotation with every other weekend off
Stable work history

Our client will offer a base salary of $75k-82k depending on experience, overtime pay (can be significant), bonus opportunity, excellent benefits that begin on day one of employment, generous PTO plan, and a matching 401(k). The company has had consistent growth within the Memphis operation, with much more planned, so future opportunities for advancement will be plentiful.
