An outstanding opportunity has become available for an Emergency Veterinarian to join a highly respected 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital serving Southwest Florida.

The Role
As an Emergency Veterinarian, you'll play an essential role in delivering life-saving care for a diverse emergency caseload within a fast-paced referral environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Performing comprehensive emergency examinations and diagnostic assessments.
• Developing treatment plans and delivering advanced medical care for emergency patients.
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with pet owners during urgent situations.
• Working closely with specialists, veterinary nurses, and support teams to provide seamless patient care.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records while adhering to the hospital's high professional standards.
Requirements
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of one year's experience within an emergency veterinary setting.
• Strong diagnostic ability, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to manage emergency cases.
• Authorised to work within the United States.
