We're seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer (Remote within the US) who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. You'll independently perform mechanical design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Your mechanical experience will be put to use to create HVAC and Plumbing designs for construction. There will be opportunities to be on project sites to gather existing HVAC and Plumbing conditions and during construction. You will coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management. Here's what you'll need: Associates Degree in a related technical discipline is highly preferred At least 5 years of experience of practical application experience of mechanical design, including HVAC load and plumbing calculations, equipment selections, and ductwork and plumbing system designs related to building systems Proficient working knowledge of Revit software General working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination Ideally, you'll also have: Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team Passion for buildings and construction Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. The base salary range for this position is $71,000.00 to $120,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
