Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist

Position Overview Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment at Children’s National Hospital, Rockville, Maryland. Work 40 hours weekly (8‑hour shifts). Preferred schedule is Monday‑Thursday 8:30 AM–6:30 PM; full‑time 5 days is acceptable. Responsibilities Provide pediatric physical therapy services to an average of 6–7 patients per day. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Chart and document in Cerner, meeting facility documentation standards. Achieve a billing target of 25 hours per week (with 29 hours scheduled). Maintain compliance with facility policies and licensing requirements. Qualifications Licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist with a current active state license (MD required; must obtain and hold an MD license before assignment start). Minimum 2 years of pediatric PT experience; preference for 5 or more years. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in Cerner charting system. Willingness to travel on a fixed‑term (13‑week) assignment. Other Requirements Contract length: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week. Travel type: first‑time travelers accepted. Return‑to‑Office (RTO) policy: no more than one week; if a full week RTO is required, an additional succeeding week must be added to complete the contract.
